Can somebody PLEASE tell me why Salt Lake City does not have a Dunkin' Donuts!? After 18 years, I finally had my fix in Las Vegas and oh... it was heaven. Memories of my childhood in Connecticut came flying back when I bit into the Boston Kreme Donut. Does anyone else have a longing for this delicious chain? Just think, Munchkins could one day replace Utah's green Jell-O.
(Their coffee is great, too! It doesn't have that burnt taste like Starbucks.)

awe you poor thing! We have three, I'll put a note in the suggestion box, that they should move one there!
i went to one in chicago in january, but i wasn't impressed. i almost never went to the ones in dallas. i preferred my donuts made by asians in tiny mom&pop shops.
That is sooooo funny you have this blog up...Melo and I discussed this very issue TODAY!! We were watching the parade this morning and heard the words (from bed) Dunkin Donuts...We want to have our own franchise here one day...seriously!! It is the best!!!
I KNOW...! See, you and Melo have great taste... when's the wedding? ;-)
We actually used to have a DD. Funny enough it was across from the police station by the Albertsons between 3rd & 4th East (near the Twilite Lounge.) It closed a few years back when DD was having big financial problems.
It had to be over 18 years ago-- before I moved here.
That may be the case. I've been in a time warp since the 80s, I think.
You know, come to think of it, the one across the street from the Police Station was a Winchell's. We used to have Dunkin' Donuts in SLC, however. I remember them quite clearly being in Fashion Place Mall.
Oh man, I live in MA, and you cannot go a few feet without seeing a DD. My small town alone has 5 of them. I unfortunately have an addiction for crappy french vanilla capachinos from convenient store machines.
